It started with two students and a simple promise.
Before Ascend had a name, it started with two students sitting at kitchen tables late at night, exhausted, overwhelmed, and scared they were falling behind. We knew that feeling personally, the pressure of SAT weekends, the blank-page anxiety of essay drafts, and the silence while waiting for decisions that could shape the next four years.
So we built the kind of support we wish we'd had: one clear plan each week, honest feedback, and mentors who could say "we've been there" and mean it. Families started telling other families because kids felt calmer and more in control. That's still what we're here for: to help students get where they want to go without burning out, and to keep you in the loop every step of the way.
